TEXSOM remains a leader in beverage education, offering high quality seminars. The 23 educational seminars and presentations will each feature up to 8 beverages and will be led by some of the most respected experts in the industry, including Master Sommeliers, Masters of Wine, and Certified Wine Educators. In addition, attendees have the opportunity to taste more than 400 wines for evaluation at the Grand Tasting and Awards Reception.
For the second seminar, Bill and Dawnine Dyer will lead the group in a vintage vertical tasting featuring Estate Cabernets from both Dyer Vineyard and Meteor Vineyard. The wines come from the Napa Valley - Diamond Mountain to Coombsville. This will give guests the chance to look at the expression of terroir from two different AVAs.
