More than sixty vintners will be pouring wines at the 2014 Cabernet for Connoisseurs; these vintners will each donate a bottle of wine to be included in the Vintners' Premier Collection. It is a great opportunity to acquire an impressive cellar with one bold bid. Please show your appreciation for their generosity on behalf of Family House by bidding high on this fabulous collection.

MacArthur Beverages California Barrel Tasting continues to be the premier event of its kind. The event presents the attendees a rare opportunity to talk to the wine makers, sample and reserve over eighty different wines from some of California’s top wineries before the wines are released. Each year the wineries draw samples of wines from the barrels and send them to be shown at our event. Normally only professional wine merchants and sommeliers get this opportunity. Mark your calendar now – don’t miss your chance to experience this unique, one-of-a-kind wine tasting event.

Each year brings a new magic to Auction Napa Valley. An intangible mingling of extraordinary Napa Valley wines, memorable meals from talented chefs, the beauty of our landscape at every turn, the music and design and, of course, the thrill of bidding on one-of-a-kind Napa Valley wines and experiences, all coming together in an original way each year since 1981.
Special events include a gala event at Rosecliff (1902) showcasing reserve wines and an elegant cocktail buffet, and a collectible wine dinner at The Elms (1901) presenting rare and vintage wines with experts from around the world. The centerpiece of the weekend is a two-day Grand Tasting at Marble House (1892) with hundreds of wines, cooking demonstrations from national and regional chefs, and food tastings from some of New England’s finest restaurants and caterers. All proceeds benefit the historic preservation efforts of The Preservation Society of Newport County.
