Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

In the southeast corner of Napa Valley lies a very special piece of ground. Five hundred feet above the valley floor, the microclimate provides a cool environment for long hang-times and even maturation of the fruit. Volcanic soils harken to a prehistoric eruption of nearby Mount George. A unique geologic anomaly has peppered the soil with cobblestone and clay. Together, they create the perfect medium for grapes of distinct character. The resulting wine is deeply colored with blue-violet edges. The mouth feel is silken, exploding with lush, dark fruit, with vibrant flavors of blackberry, olallieberry, and black cherry. Firm yet ripe tannins provide a structure that insures that Meteor can be enjoyed today and still reward the collector for years to come. Meteor is crafted in artisanal sized lots.
